Overview

In this role, you will assist with our web development initiatives by designing and developing user interfaces using Angular, and implementing backend functionality using Node.js.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular
Creating and consuming RESTful services
Expertise in modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks, such as AngularJS, JQuery, and ReactJS
Working with Node.js, Express and other frameworks available for it
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Implementing user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Attending daily stand ups and team meetings; completing monthly reports; and following team policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript, TypeScript Dom manipulation Techniques
Experience with RESTful services • Expertise in any one of the modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks (AngularJS, JQuery, ReactJS)
Knowledge of Node.js, Express and frameworks available for it
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Strong communication skills with strong project management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at once
Ability to maintain composure against obstacles and solve immediate problems with thought and foresight
Able to build and maintain internal and external relationships and work in a team environment
Willing to work non-standard work hours
Employment contingent upon completion of background check

Preferred Skills

Higher consideration will be given to candidates:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in development
Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud services
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Bachelor’s degree or additional education in Computer Science or related field.

Communication is key to a smooth and efficient pipeline; you must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other team-members and not be afraid to ask should any problems arise. We are an English-speaking team, so English fluency is a must.
Salary Commensurate with Experience
